1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1 cup honey
1 package yeast or 1 tbsp yeast, dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water with a touch of honey
3 eggs
1 cup bran
4 1/2- 5 1/2 cups stone ground whole-wheat flour
1 tsp mace

- Scald the milk, take it off the heat, and put in butter and honey to dissolve together in the hot milk.
